Before anything else, it is important to note that there are several methods for performing a brow lift. The most common non-medical technique involves individually fixing each brow hair to lift the eyebrow and tame unruly hairs. However, this method does not open the gaze or affect the appearance of the forehead. It is typically performed by beauty institute professionals.

Before undergoing a brow lift, it is essential to consult a qualified medical professional to discuss your expectations and assess whether this procedure is appropriate for you. A physician will also provide detailed information about the potential benefits and risks.

The following methods are reserved for professionals in aesthetic medicine and surgery, and align with current beauty trends for achieving the sought-after “cat-eye” or “fox eyes” look.

At the Brussels Surgical Center, we offer 4 medical brow lift techniques:

Among the non-invasive options, we offer botulinum toxin alone or in combination with thread lifts. These techniques are used to elevate the outer tail of the brows.

1. Botulinum toxin injections, which are also used to create a lifting effect on the forehead by weakening the depressor muscles. This is a minimally invasive technique offering temporary results that require regular touch-ups to maintain the effect.

Price: €250 VAT included.

2. Thread lifts are another non-surgical option to slightly lift the forehead, and more specifically, the brows. These threads are inserted under the skin and tightened to produce a lifting effect. They gradually dissolve but also stimulate collagen production, which can improve skin firmness over time.
The cost of this technique alone is €650. However, we recommend combining it with a muscle-relaxing injectable treatment for the forehead to prolong the result.
Combined price: €650 + €250 = €900.

Note: Both non-invasive techniques can be combined for a total cost of €800.

3. The traditional surgical technique known as the direct eyebrow lift, more commonly referred to as “fox eyes,” involves a direct correction that leaves a small scar hidden within the brow arch. This is a quick, straightforward, and effective procedure. Results are permanent once the scar has fully stabilized (after approximately 3 months).
Price: €1,600 VAT included.

4. The surgical brow lift with forehead lifting aims to lift and firm drooping brows, tighten the forehead skin, and elevate the outer corners of the eyes. This procedure involves an incision in the scalp followed by the repositioning of the forehead muscles and skin.
Note: This frontal lifting procedure is more invasive and requires a longer recovery time, but it provides long-lasting results.
Price: €6,050 VAT included.

During your preoperative consultation, the surgeon will discuss the specific incision techniques based on your facial analysis, gaze, and desired outcome.

It is also important to understand that results vary from person to person and that complications such as bruising, infection, or unsatisfactory outcomes may occur. Be sure to ask all necessary questions and openly share your concerns with your specialist before making an informed decision.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that aesthetic preferences are often influenced by trends, whereas surgery is a permanent decision.
